UK JUSTICE FOR JEYASRE is a space created for individuals and groups to join together and demand Justice For Jeyasre Kathiravel and her family. We stand in solidarity with Jeyasre’s family, and with the demands of the Tamil Nadu Textile and Common Labour Union (TTCU), the Asia Floor Wage Alliance, and Global Labor Justice.
We are not an organisation but a platform for all the different people and groups who are horrified by what happened to Jeyasre. As independent groups and individuals, the forms of action taken to support #JusticeForJeyasre will be varied but participants in UK Justice for Jeyasre are united in our shared demands: We want Justice For Jeyasre, we want accountability from companies in the fashion industry – specifically H&M – who have failed to prevent sexual abuse and violence in their factories. We demand an end to gender based violence in the fashion industry.
